The Office
The Camillus Chiropractic office has been serving the area since 1987. Initially located on West Genesee Street in Camillus, the current location represents the second expansion of the office. Conveniently located off Exit 7 of Interstate 690, the office is easily reached from all parts of the Syracuse area. The current location, only 12 minutes from downtown, has 180 free parking spaces and is fully handicapped accessible.
The Doctors
Dr. Christopher Piering
Doctor, Co-owner
Dr. Christopher Piering is a native of downstate New York and a lifelong Yankee fan. After graduating from Deer Park High School, he completed his pre-chiropractic education at SUNY Delhi and Binghamton. A 1984 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr Piering returned to Long Island and served as Associate Director of the Mid Island Chiropractic Office in Levittown, New York. In 1987, Dr Piering and his family relocated to Central New York and founded the Camillus Chiropractic Office. Dr Piering has earned Advanced Certification of Competency in Whiplash and Brain Injury Tramatology from the Spine Institute of San Diego (www.srisd.com). Continuing education in rehabilitation, nutrition, orthotics as well as other areas is an ongoing process, with a focus on improving the services provided to patients under care at the Camillus Chiropractic Office. He is a member of the New York State Chiropractic Association and the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research.
Dr. Kori Blake
Associate
Dr Kori Blake is a native of Fulton, New York, and the oldest of three children. She graduated high school with high honors, and achieved her undergraduate degree from Binghamton University. She is a 2002 graduate of the New York Chiropractic College, and then practiced for three years in Boston. She returned to Central New York to be closer to her family. She currently resides in Fulton with her daughter, and enjoys the outdoor activities that the area offers. In addition to hiking, camping, snowshoeing, and caring for her wonderful daughter, Dr. Blake manages to run daily, and enjoys several other sports. Her professional interests fit well with the Office, stressing the need for patient education and involvement in their own health.
Dr. Hunter Mollin
Associate
Dr. Mollin has been in practice since 1981. He currently is an Associate Professor at New York Chiropractic College where he teaches in the Clinical Science Department. He holds certifications in Cox Distraction Technique and Graston Technique. Cox Distraction Technique is a proven method of treating disc lesions and related spinal conditions. Graston Technique is an instrument assisted connective tissue procedure utilized to treat conditions such as tennis elbow, shoulder tendonopathy, sprain/strain injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fascitis, and post surgical scarring, just to name a few.
Dr. Mollin teaches these techniques at the New York Chiropractic College. He also has advanced certification in the diagnosis, mangement and treatment of whiplash related injuries. When he is not busy teaching or working with patients he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, sailing and snowboarding.
Jim Bailor, LMT, NCTMB, RMMT
Jim Bailor is NYS licensed massage therapist and is certified in therapeutic massage. Well educated and holding numerous advanced certifications, Jim continually educates himself and studies specific areas to keep current on the latest techniques and advances to better serve his clients. Whether injury, illness, or stress related, Jim’s expertise offers relaxation, relief, and wellness to the individuals unique needs.
